First Engagement Session

We will be photographing Jessica and Matt’s wedding.

Meeting with the bride and groom during our wedding photography consultation is important, but we feel that photographing them before their wedding day gives us insight into how each will react in front of our camera. Plus this gives the couple an idea of how we will photograph their wedding, which will make them more at ease with us.

For their first engagement session, we met at the studio (Nicol Photography, LLC studio) and started their engagement session with studio portraits. Then we decided to go to Mount Union College’s campus to have some engagement portraits in a natural setting. We used several areas of the college campus so that we could get some different looks and so that I could have more time to get to know Jessica and Matt as a couple.

They had so much fun that they would like to have another engagement session, but this time they want to have a session out in the snow. Well lately snow is something that we are not worried about, and we are just trying to match up our schedules so that we can capture a few more engagement portraits for Jessica and Matt.

These photos are so cute, too bad this site wont let you upload video from a video camera, I wish you had one you could use so we could actually watch you guys. I wonder where you can get a video camera to use.
